The Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast
A Palm Sunday tradition in East Greenwich Township is back. The Annual East Greenwich Fire Company Pancake and Sausage Breakfast is happening Sunday, April 4th, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, and $3 for children. Tickets are available at the door and take-outs are also available. Norman Owen honored for 60 years of service
On February
9, 2002, the East Greenwich Fire Company honored Norman Owen
for his 60 years of service as a volunteer firefighter. At
the annual Fire Company Installation Dinner, Norman was presented
with a special plaque and a leather helmet on which were inscribed
the dates he served as chief and president of the company.
Norman was furthered honored with an article published in

Fire Company Gets Fitness Grant
The East Greenwich Fire Department has received a $24,846
grant under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. This grant
will be used for a wellness and fitness program for firefighters, which will be supervised by the Riverfront
Medical Center in the Pureland Industrial park. Riverfront's program offers immunizations, physical fitness, strength
training, and weight loos, all under the supervison of a physician. The grant also covers the purchase of gym equipment
so that members can continue the program after the grant period expires.

Celebrating
100 Years Of Service
East Greenwich
Fire Company celebrated its 100th anniversary on May 10, 2003.
The celebration included a parade through the township and
fair with fun and food for all ages. The East Greenwich Fire
Company would like to thank everyone that came out to help
us celebrate.
